Challenge: Revamp the All-Clad website to enhance the user experience (UX) and drive online sales of their premium cookware, specifically targeting a younger generation of cooks. Traditionally, All-Clad's user base skewed towards male cooks aged 35 and up. The goal was to improve product discoverability, storytelling, and overall brand perception while streamlining the purchasing process and attracting a new demographic.

Information Architecture & Reaching New Cooks:
Collaborated with information architects (IAs) to develop a clear and intuitive information architecture for the website, ensuring easy navigation for both existing and new customer segments. This included optimizing product categorization and search functionality for a broader range of cooking styles and recipe needs.
Mapped out user flows for key tasks like product browsing, product comparison, recipe exploration, and checkout, ensuring a smooth experience for all user groups.
Understanding Evolving Customer Needs:
Conducted user research (surveys, interviews, user testing) to understand the needs and online shopping behaviors of a younger generation of cooks.
Analyzed competitor websites popular with this demographic to identify best practices and potential differentiators for All-Clad.
Design & Prototyping:
Created low-fidelity wireframes to establish layouts and user flows that catered to both existing and younger users.
Designed high-fidelity mockups for the website, focusing on a balance between the brand's established image of quality and craftsmanship and a more modern, approachable aesthetic to appeal to a younger audience.
High-quality visuals showcasing the cookware's functionality and versatility were prioritized.
Prototyped the designs to allow for user testing and interactive feedback from both established and target demographics.
